I’m Nidal Ghosn, the proud owner of Tamerco General Contractors Inc. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
Having always been interested in self-employment and coming from a family of general contractors, I learned the ropes of landscaping, house renovation, waterscape, waterproofing, and concrete work as a teenager. After gaining sufficient knowledge, I established Tamerco General Contractors Inc. in the year 2000 to provide the Scarborough, Toronto area with the best in construction and landscaping services.
In the twenty-plus years since our initiation, I have had the privilege of watching my business prosper, client list grow, and learned to adapt to changes that are inevitable in the field of construction. We have continued to add services such as landscaping and created beautiful waterscapes that have wowed our clients and made us the best at what we do. It has and continues to give me an incredible thrill to drive through my area and see the many prestigious projects I have been involved with over the years.
I appreciate my profession’s out-door nature and wake up thankful not to work at a desk job. I especially enjoy landscaping projects as I find the process of making a garden or piece of land look it’s best through adding ornamental features or planting trees and shrubs very rewarding.
The philosophy I have built my business on is best described by the saying “a satisfied customer is the best business strategy,” which shows in the glowing reviews my business receives and our positive customer testimonials.

Undoubtedly the most satisfying moment in my business is the handing-over of visually and functionally perfect finished projects to awestruck clients and know they will be able to enjoy the space for years to come. After many jobs well done and multiple projects later, I still strive to learn from every venture and find learning new things has given me immense satisfaction over the years.
When I am not at work, I spend a lot of my free time with my family. I love having barbeques in the garden during the summer months and cooking delicious meals indoors during our sometimes harsh winters.
